Karul Projects Dance Theatre is looking for four (4) First Nations dance artists to become part of our inaugural company ensemble.

Salary:
18 weeks guarantee within a 12 month period.
This weeks will be paid including Super and pro-rata leave entitlements.
Contract Period
The 12 month period will be 1 July 2026 - 30 June 2027
Successful applicants will be notified in December to allow 6 months of preparation for working with Karul as a locally based artist.
Location:
You will be engaged as a Gold Coast/Northern NSW based artist
Your role:
Participation in rehearsals, performances, workshops, and other related activities as required by the company. You will be representing Karul in the industry.
Who we're looking for:
We are seeking four (4) First Nations performance artists with a strong dance practice to join Karul as Company Artists on the Gold Coast. In this role, you will help create new work, expand First Nations representation in the arts, and grow Karul’s presence locally, nationally, and internationally - across both physical and digital stages. Together, we will continue to deliver Blak excellence and share stories that matter.
