THE WALKING TRACK

SEASON

- KOMBUMERRI COUNTRY/BURLEIGH HEADS, QLD, AUGUST 2024 @ BLEACH* FESTIVAL WORLD PREMIERE

- KAURNA COUNTRY/ADELAIDE, SA, MARCH 2025 @ VITALSTATISTIX, ADELAIDE FESTIVAL

The Walking Track is Karul Projects major performance work that is an incubator for First Nations artists to develop their own performance piece under the guidance of Karul Projects Artistic Director Thomas E.S. Kelly.

Each installation, positioned along a path snaking from start to finish, serves as its own vibrant chapter, woven seamlessly into a singular storyline. Through original immersive sound design be guided by the pulse of performance, traversing the artistic landscape with Ranger Tom from Tom’s Tours Today.

Every iteration of The Walking Track will incubate new works from First Nations Artists local to the are we are presenting in. Therefore no presentation of The Walking Track will be the same as it’s next location.
